Inaugural session complimentary for all members of PMI, RIMS, IRM, and ISACA. Beginning October, sessions are free for PMI Puget Sound members and $10 for all other guests.

Featured Discussion: Risk Management Beyond the Register. A practitioner-focused exploration of the gap between how organizations say they manage risk and how they actually do, drawing on PMI's PMBOK 7th Edition risk performance domain
 
Peer Breakout: Risk Appetite vs. Risk Tolerance. Small-group discussion on how organizations define and communicate risk thresholds, followed by whole-group debrief
 
Shaping Our CoP Together: Member input on the 2026 to 2027 topic calendar, call for volunteer speakers and co-facilitators
 
Wrap-Up and Resources: Next session preview, RMP credential resources, and chapter programming
 
Optional Networking Extension: 30 minutes of open conversation for those who wish to continue

About This Community of Practice

The Risk Management CoP meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:00 PM PDT via Zoom. Each 90-minute session qualifies for 1.5 to 2.0 Education PDUs toward PMI credential renewal. An optional 30-minute networking extension follows each session.
