Presentation Abstract:

How do the best companies and Government PMOs manage their resources?  Are there benefits to managing resources within a PMO, or is that best kept separate?  Do you manage a “pool” of resources to be allocated to prioritized projects, or, are resources dedicated to different sub-organizations?  How and when do you decide to use contractors?  Consultants?  What are the best techniques for ensuring you have the right kind of resources with the right skillsets at the right time?  What tools/applications can help provide resource utilization visibility?  And yah, what have you learned that you wish to advise others to avoid?  The Roundtable will discuss!

For over a two decades, the PMOR has been a unique forum that brings together PMO members from among the best known public and private institutions around Puget Sound for an interactive, spirited roundtable discussion. Participants contribute their own experiences and gain from others, all aimed at raising the quality and stature of the PMO function where they work. Come give us your two cents!
