Professional Development Days (PDD) is the PMI Puget Sound Chapter’s largest learning event of the year. PDD 2026 brought together 7 learning tracks, 43 sessions, 3 keynotes and our first College PM Bowl, with more than 70 member volunteers making it happen.
Planning for PDD 2027 starts now, and we want you on the team.
This year we are starting nearly a full year ahead, which gives the committee time to act on what attendees told us. Planned improvements include fewer concurrent sessions, full session descriptions published well in advance, parking and wayfinding tips, and session recordings.
At this session you will
- Learn how PDD is planned and what the 2027 committee will deliver
- Hear about open roles, including program and speaker selection, volunteer coordination, registration, presenter communications and the College PM Bowl
- Find out the time commitment for each role and the planning schedule
- Ask questions and meet the people building PDD 2027
Who should attend
Any chapter member interested in event planning, program design, volunteer leadership or supporting the College PM Bowl. No prior event experience is needed. Many roles fit a schedule of a few hours a week.
Why get involved
- Build leadership and program management experience on a high-visibility chapter event
- Expand your network across the Puget Sound project management community
- Earn PDUs for your volunteer hours when you apply through the volunteer portal
Planning schedule
The committee meets online twice in November and December, monthly through February, then every two weeks leading up to the October conference.
