Many people know FIRO Theory as a model for understanding interpersonal behavior. But did you know that it is also an overarching theory that you can use in your OD practice? FIRO (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation) not only helps to explain interpersonal relationships, but it is also used to understand the stages of team and organizational development.
In this interactive session, Ethan Schutz returns to PNODN to illustrate how this very simple theory can help you to:
- Work through the OD process and the inevitable stages that engagements go through
- Navigate the ups and downs of teams, departments, and organizations
- Understand how individuals fit into team dynamics
- Have a positive impact on group dynamics
- Shift organizational cultures
