Join our Virtual Executive Knowledge Club three-month pilot exploring project management business acumen, ways of working, and power skills. The selected books link to the PMI Talent Triangle competencies, and you earn PDUs for participating.
Book Two is Agile Development and Business Goals: The Six-Week Solution.
You'll learn about Business Acumen (1 PDU), Industry Domain Knowledge, Strategic Planning, Analysis, Alignment and Ways of Working (1 PDU), Agile and Hyper Agile, Schedule Management, and Scope Management.
PDUS will apply to PMP, PBA, ACP, CAPM, and PgMP.
Objective:
- PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program supports our certification holders' ongoing educational and professional development. Hence, they are always prepared to meet the demands of today's complex business environment.
- Continuing Learning opportunities that allow you to expand and enhance your Ways of Working, Power Skills, or Business Acumen through review of newer professional references allow for practice of presentation and topic exploration through group discussion. This program's categories will focus on more recent industry references and classics. The Puget Sound PMI Chapter offers programming to support continuing education with various subjects that will help its members with reporting requirements.
- Provide innovative and new options for learning, including "experimental" fast-tracked approaches and fresh content from membership input.
Chapter members must register and attend this session to earn Two (2) PDUs.

Cindy Wells, PMP (Stowe), is a Senior Application Analyst/Project Manager. Sixteen years of information technology experience within a national healthcare information technology company and over twenty in healthcare, specializing in the health record management and quality assurance. Her work has involved practical clinical solutions from the proposal, implementation, support, and upgrade to retirement.
Her background includes experience with extensive healthcare facilities, classified as teaching nonprofits and private psychiatric facilities. With a concentration in project management, support, and development needs within the health and clinical information specialties. Experience in web development, data analysis, and an operational team supporting legacy systems (mainframe and client/server).
Professional credentials include active membership in the Project Management Institute as a Professional Project Manager and active membership with the Puget Sound chapter of the Project Management Institute. With the collaboration of the Learning and Organizational Development creator and manager of Ascension Information Services Virtual Book Club, 2010 – 2017, with the highlight as Program Winner - 2017 Learning! 100 Award Winner. As an advocate of lifelong learning, she enjoys learning and sharing in personal growth adventures, whether professional or personal, gardening, cooking, or traveling.
