Event Overview

The Automation Discovery Lab is a focused, half-day virtual program designed exclusively for members. Learn how to connect Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, and SharePoint to streamline data collection — then discover how Copilot and Copilot Studio can turn that data into insights and even a simple agent bot.

This is not a lecture — it’s a guided, hands-on discovery experience where you’ll build, test, and explore in real time.


Schedule (Pacific Time)

8:30 – 8:45 AM | Kickoff & Poll

  • Welcome and live MS Form poll.

8:45 – 10:00 AM | Session 1: Forms + SharePoint

  • Build a Microsoft Form.

  • Create a SharePoint List for structured data.

10:00 – 10:10 AM | Break

10:10 – 11:30 AM | Session 2: Power Automate Flow

  • Build a Flow to capture Form responses into SharePoint.

  • Optional notifications with Teams or email.

11:30 AM – 12:15 PM | Lunch Break (45 minutes)

12:15 – 1:15 PM | Session 3: Copilot + Agent Bot

  • Use Copilot in Excel/Power BI to analyze responses.

  • Introduction to Copilot Studio for a simple Q&A bot.

1:15 – 1:30 PM | Wrap-Up & Q&A

  • Review, resources, and feedback form.


Your Facilitator

Wendy Evans Hardy is a Senior Program Manager in Content Operations at Sage with expertise in building scalable processes, automations, and AI-driven solutions that improve quality and efficiency. She is the Past President of the Puget Sound PMI Chapter, the Interim Vice President of Finance, and the President of the PSPMI Toastmasters Club, where she champions professional development, governance, and communication excellence. Wendy is known for translating complex technical concepts into practical, hands-on learning experiences. As facilitator of the Automation Discovery Lab, she brings her blend of pragmatism and vision to help members discover how Microsoft 365 tools and Copilot can transform the way they work.
