Event Description       

Join us for the launch of PMI Puget Sound's revitalized Mentorship Program! This virtual information session will introduce the program framework, explain how to participate as a mentor or mentee, and provide an opportunity to complete intake forms and begin the matching process. 

What You Will Learn       

  • Program structure, time commitments, and meeting expectations           
  • How mentorship supports career acceleration, competency improvement, and professional challenges           
  • The matching process and program timeline          
  • Benefits of participating as a mentor or mentee           
  • How to register through the volunteer portal    

Prospective Mentors                  

  • Experienced PMPs, PgMPs, or PfMPs willing to share knowledge and guidance               
  • Senior project/program managers with industry expertise
  • Professionals who have navigated career transitions or challenges             
  • Leaders interested in developing others                 

Prospective Mentees:               

  • New PMPs seeking guidance on career advancement               
  • Professionals transitioning between industries or roles          
  • Project managers facing specific professional challenges

During this session, you will:


               
  1. Learn about the program framework and expectations
  2. Complete an intake form (mentor or mentee)
  3. Understand the matching process and timeline
  4. Ask questions about the program    

       


           

What Happens Next


           

Following the kickoff, participants will be matched with mentors or mentees based on expressed interests, expertise areas, and professional development goals. The program includes a structured 6-month commitment with regular check-ins and support.
